A Brief History of SDLC Practices

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) describes how software applications are built. It usually contains the following phases:

  • Requirements gathering
  • Analysis of the requirements to guide design
  • Design of new features based on the requirements
  • Development of new capabilities (writing code to meet requirements)
  • Testing and verification of new capabilities—confirming that they do indeed meet the requirements
  • Deployment of the new project
  • Maintenance and evolution of these capabilities once the release goes out the door

PSTN vs ISDN

​“PSTN” means “Public Switched Telephone Network,” and “ISDN” means “Integrated Services Digital Network.”

1.PSTN lines are analogue while ISDN lines are digital.
2.When comparing the two networks, the PSTN lines are used for small companies and ISDL are used for bigger companies.
3.The ISDN provides 128 kbps, which is really good for the Internet. PSTN (maximum rate of 56kbps) has a disadvantage that it does not make the most possible use of the broadband.
4.While PSTN does not allow two simultaneous connections, it is allowed in ISDN service.
5.When using ISDN, one can make faster calls than when using the PSTN.6.Both are mostly obsolete now with Ethernet and TCP/IP based networks and the Internet providing all that and a lot more.

Land Lines[edit]

To dial a land line in Cambodia all over the country, the format is Area Code + Phone Number. The area code is 3 digits long, followed by a 6 or 7 digit phone number.

Calls made from outside Cambodia must omit the prefix 0. Therefore to call a land line number in Phnom Penh from other countries, dialing begins with +855 23 followed by 6 or 7 digits.[1]

NFC – Near Field Communication

How NFC Works

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi seem similar to near field communication on the surface. All three allow wireless communication and data exchange between digital devices like smartphones. Yet near field communication utilizes electromagnetic radio fields while technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi focus on radio transmissions instead.

Near field communication, or NFC for short, is an offshoot of radio-frequency identification (RFID) with the exception that NFC is designed for use by devices within close proximity to each other. Three forms of NFC technology exist: Type A, Type B, and FeliCa. All are similar but communicate in slightly different ways. FeliCa is commonly found in Japan.

Devices using NFC may be active or passive. A passive device, such as an NFC tag, contains information that other devices can read but does not read any information itself. Think of a passive device as a sign on a wall. Others can read the information, but the sign itself does nothing except transmit the info to authorized devices.

Active devices can read information and send it. An active NFC device, like a smartphone, would not only be able to collect information from NFC tags, but it would also be able to exchange information with other compatible phones or devices and could even alter the information on the NFC tag if authorized to make such changes.

To ensure security, NFC often establishes a secure channel and uses encryption when sending sensitive information such as credit card numbers. Users can further protect their private data by keeping anti-virus software on their smartphones and adding a password to the phone so a thief cannot use it in the event that the smartphone is lost or stolen. ជា​ធម្មតា នៅពេល​អ្នក​ធ្វើ​ការងារ​អ្វី​មួយ វា​ជៀស​មិន​ផុត​ពី​កំហុស​នោះ​ទេ។ ប្រសិនបើ​អ្នក​ព្យាយាម​ស្តី​បន្ទោស​លើ​ខ្លួន​ឯង​ខ្លាំង​ពេក វា​អាច​ធ្វើ​ឲ្យ​អ្នក​ប្រឈម​នឹង​បញ្ហា​តានតឹង​ខ្លាំង​។ មនុស្ស​​យើង​មិន​អាច​ល្អ​ឥត​ខ្ចោះ​នោះ​ទេ ហើយ​បើ​ព្យាយាម​ដាក់​សម្ពាធ​លើ​ខ្លួន​ឯង​ខ្លាំង​បែប​នេះ អ្នក​គ្មាន​ថ្ងៃ​ធ្វើ​ការងារ​នោះ​ឲ្យ​ល្អ​បាន​ឡើយ។ ដូច្នេះ ជម្រើស​ដ៏​ល្អ គួរ​ណាស់​តែ​ចេះ​ផ្តល់​ឱកាស​ដល់​ខ្លួនឯង ក្នុង​ការ​កែប្រែ​កំហុស ព្រោះ​វា​ជា​ផ្លូវ​ដែល​ធ្វើ​ឲ្យ​អ្នក​អាច​សម្រេច​ការងារ​នោះ​ឡើង​វិញ។

​បើ​អ្នក​គិត​ បែបណាអ្នក​នឹង​ធ្វើ​វា​បែប​នោះ។ មានន័យថា ការ​គិត​បែប​អវិជ្ជមាន វា​ធ្វើ​ឲ្យ​សកម្មភាព​របស់​អ្នក​មាន​ភាព​អវិជ្ជមាន ជាពិសេស​នៅ​ពេល​កំពុង​មាន​បញ្ហា​ស្រាប់​ផង។ ដូច្នេះ បើ​អ្នក​គិត​បែប​អវិជ្ជមាន​ច្រើន វា​ធ្វើ​ឲ្យ​អ្នក​មាន​អារម្មណ៍​ថា ស្មុគស្មាញ ហើយ​ក៏​ធ្វើ​ឲ្យ​សមត្ថភាព​ក្នុង​ការ​គិត​ដោះ​ស្រាយ​បញ្ហា ​ចុះ​អន់​ខ្សោយ​ផង​ដែរ។ ​ដើម្បី​ស្តា​ស្ថានការណ៍ អ្នក​គួរ​បង្កើត​ទម្លាប់​គិត​បែប​វិជ្ជមាន ព្រោះ​វា​អាច​ធ្វើ​ឲ្យ​អ្វីៗ​ប្រសើរ​ឡើងវិញ បើ​ទោះបីជា​អ្នក​កំពុង​ជួប​បញ្ហា​ស្មុគស្មាញ​ក្តី។

៤) ឆ្លៀត​ដើរ​លំហែកាយ​ខ្លះ
​ដើម្បី​កាត់​បន្ថយ​ភាព​តាន​តឹង​​ អ្នក​គួរ​តែ​ទុក​ពេល​ខ្លះ​សម្រាប់​ខ្លួនឯង ក្នុង​ការ​ដើរកម្សាន្ត​ផ្សេងៗ ជាពិសេស​ការ​ទៅ​ស្រូប​យក​ខ្យល់​ធម្មជាតិ​នៅ​តាម​កន្លែង​ដែល​មាន​ដើមឈើ​ពណ៌បៃតង។ នៅពេល​ដែល​អ្នក បាន​លំហែកាយ នៅ​តាម​តំបន់​ធម្មជាតិ​ផ្សេងៗ​នោះ​វា​ធ្វើ​ឲ្យ​អ្នក​មាន​អារម្មណ៍​ស្រស់​ស្រាយ និង កាត់​បន្ថយ​ភាព​តាន​តឹង​បាន​យ៉ាងច្រើន។

៥) ឆ្លៀតពេល​ហាត់ប្រាណ
